To emphasize this innovation, Hans Thomi replaced the "i" in the name with the more internationally suitable "y." Due to their experience with mustard products, Thomy launched the first industrially produced mayonnaise in Europe in 1951. This was followed by other products such as tomato puree, dressings, light products, various sauces, organic items, and ketchup.
