Teriyaki is a savory sauce based on tamari. Many teriyaki sauces use sugar, but we have exclusively used natural fruit juices (grape and apple) as well as organic mirin. The result is a delicious sauce that can be used in many ways. Although teriyaki is often associated with beef in the West, in Japan it is primarily used to season fish. It is also wonderful in stir-fry, rice, and noodle dishes.
