The precious oil of the Moroccan argan tree consists of approximately 80% biologically active unsaturated fatty acids, particularly linoleic and oleic acids, which help maintain normal blood cholesterol levels (from 10 g linoleic acid per day, which corresponds to approximately 30 g of organic argan oil). With its typical flavor, it is well suited for cooking but can also be taken pure (1-3 teaspoons daily). Externally, it is suitable for the care of dry and rough skin.
Virgin argan oil, known as the liquid gold of Morocco, is obtained from the flavorful nuts of a tree native to Morocco through cold pressing. The nuts are cracked by hand by Berber women in a labor-intensive process.
The yellowish argan oil is characterized as a dietary supplement by its high content of antioxidant vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acids. It is suitable for both hot and cold dishes.

Use in the kitchen
Argan oil is particularly recommended for refining pasta sauces, dips, salads, fish, or meat dishes. Just a few drops of the oil with its characteristic nutty flavor add a special touch to dishes.
Use for skin care
Native argan oil is the preferred choice for skin care. Due to its fatty acid spectrum and its accompanying substances, argan oil has a vitalizing effect on the skin and protects it from drying out. The skin becomes supple and acquires a silky luster.
Application: Argan oil can be used for the skin of the face, neck, and body as well as for the hair.
