Swiss Alpine Herbs Alps Chili Mix

Alpine chilies are delicate little plants that Swiss Alpine Herbs have acclimatized to the climate of the Swiss Alps over more than 25 years. The frost-sensitive cayenne pepper seedlings, also known as chili pods or peperoncini, are planted outdoors each early summer, and the harvest takes place between August and October before the first frost. In years with unfavorable weather, it can happen that the pods are harvested green instead of red. This has a visual impact on the alpine chili products. However, the well-known, distinctive flavor and spiciness are not affected. Thanks to the relatively slow growth of the chilies in the alpine climate, they are very aromatic and quite spicy.
