Long Energy - Competition Formula is an acid-free sports drink containing 5% protein in peptide form. Peptide form means that the product is already pre-digested and can be absorbed significantly faster compared to conventional protein. Similar to the Competition line, Long Energy is based on eight different carbohydrate sources with varying glycemic indices, including Vitargo, a patented barley starch hydrolysate with a molecular weight approximately 100 times higher than that of conventional grain starches.
