In order to be able to meet customer wishes in a targeted manner, the young company Dr. Schär relied on its own department specialising in product development at an early stage. Initially, an ambitious baker, later a food technologist, was responsible for expanding and perfecting the product range. Close cooperation with nutritional experts provided the necessary expertise right from the start. As demand and know-how grew, the company put an important decision into practice in 2003, namely to set up the company's own research laboratory in Trieste. As a pioneer in gluten-free foods, delicious products with the highest standards of quality and safety have been created with a great deal of commitment and passion from high-quality ingredients for over 35 years.
