Reishunger Basmati

This organic basmati rice of the Organic Traditional variety has a wonderful, slightly earthy flavour. It is ideal for all savoury dishes, Indian curries and dals, is perfect for rice pans and also goes well with fish, meat and vegetable dishes as a side dish - a true all-rounder. This organic Basmati from the Himalayas is a long-grain rice and complies with the regulations of the Code of Practice on Basmati. According to the purity requirements for original basmati rice, the grains must have an average length of at least 6.5 mm, the proportion of foreign rice must not exceed 7% and the rice must have the typical basmati flavour. Most of our basmati grains exceed these specifications. They are usually 7-8 mm long.
