Molasses is a high-quality by-product of sugar production and has been used in natural medicine for centuries. It is unrefined and is bottled without additives. Production: Sugar cane molasses is obtained by pressing sugar cane and is a by-product of sugar production. After the sugar crystals are extracted by centrifugation, the dark molasses remains, is bottled and packaged. Use: Excellent with savoury dishes such as gingerbread, wholemeal biscuits or strong sauces and marinades, also particularly tasty in muesli, dissolved in hot vegetable drink or refined with apple sauce and cinnamon.
