General
Mildly aromatic all-purpose rice of the 'Gladio' variety with extra slender grains from the fertile Po Valley in Northern Italy. There, the rice fields are irrigated with fresh mountain water from the Alps. The long, narrow grain is characteristic of long-grain rice. Despite its smooth surface, it sticks slightly after cooking and absorbs sauces well. Long-grain premium rice is the ideal rice for modern creative cuisine.

Production
After harvesting, the rice is cleaned, husked, polished, and packaged.

Preparation instructions
For 250 g of rice, bring 2.5 times the amount of water to a boil, add the rice, and simmer for about 20 minutes on low heat in a covered pot. Remove from heat and let the rice rest for 5 minutes. Salt the rice only after cooking.
