Natural sweetening power from the date fruit. Date syrup brings new, fruity flavours to your kitchen and not only sweetens desserts and baked goods, but also perfectly rounds off spicy dishes. The dates are fairly traded and come from Rapunzel Hand in Hand partners in Tunisia. Production: The dates are pitted and boiled down with water. They are then pressed, filtered and thickened into syrup. Finally, the syrup is filtered again, bottled and packaged. For sweetening tea and smoothies, for baking, for desserts, on yoghurt and muesli, but also for sweet and sour marinades, oriental dishes or Ayurvedic breakfast variations.
