General Information

Mild coconut fat comes from Rapunzel's HAND IN HAND partner Serendipol in Sri Lanka. It is gently steamed with water vapor, resulting in a neutral oil without a strong inherent flavor, making it versatile for various uses. An alternative for those who prefer a neutral oil without coconut flavor.

Production

After harvesting, the flesh of the coconut is shredded, then ground and dried. It undergoes a purely mechanical pressing process without external heat. After pressing, the intense flavor compounds are gently removed from the fat using water vapor.
