What is Xylitol?
Xylitol is a natural sweetener derived from the bark of birch trees. It has a low glycemic index, making it suitable for diabetics. It contains only half the calories of regular sugar.

How is Xylitol used?
In recipes that do not require cooking, replace all regular sugar with Xylitol. For recipes that require baking, slightly reduce the amount (e.g., 150 g of Xylitol for 200 g of white sugar), as the sweetness intensifies during baking.
