The color mixture is suitable for one dyeing; with further dyeings, the color intensity decreases. The natural dyes react to each egg, resulting in different color nuances during a dyeing process. Fill a small stainless steel pot with 750 ml of cold water without vinegar and stir in the dye mixture. Carefully place 5-7 raw, cleaned eggs, 3-5 days after the laying date, into the water with the dye mixture. The dye water should completely cover the eggs and stand about 1 cm above them. Bring the water to a boil. While heating, gently stir the powdered dye in the water until the color is evenly distributed. When using the green dye, foam will form, which can be distributed by stirring in the water. Once the water is boiling, cook the eggs for an additional 7-10 minutes. After dyeing, rinse the eggs with cold water. The natural dyes react differently to each egg, resulting in various color nuances. The color "matures" as it cools. The color appears more intense on brown eggs than on white ones. Any discoloration in enameled pots or sinks will fade with repeated rinsing using a standard dishwashing detergent.
