Product details

Skimmer absorbent sheeting sock, pack of 10, Ø 80 mm, length 1220 mm. Designed for the absorption of surface oil from acid baths, phosphate tanks, and other corrosive liquids. These absorbent socks float on the surface even when soaked. The material remains UV resistant for up to 12 months and is filled with polypropylene. It reduces electrostatic charges and discharge, meeting NFPA-99 requirements.

These absorbent socks repel water but effectively soak up oils and hydrocarbons. Their natural, chemical-resistant properties allow them to absorb oil while repelling water-based liquids, including rainwater and acids. The attached cord facilitates easy placement and collection. Suitable for various liquids, including motor oil, hydraulic oil, petrol, diesel, petroleum, acetone, ethyl alcohol, toluene, and xylene.
