Description
Black cumin has a long and significant history in the Orient. Originally from Egypt, it is now cultivated in many parts of West Asia and Southern Europe. Among the various black cumin varieties, only Nigella sativa holds dietary significance. The seeds are matte black and contain valuable ingredients. Black cumin oil and seeds can be used in daily meals for many dishes and beverages. The seeds from the Sekem project in Egypt are carefully cold-pressed in small quantities at our workshop in the Zurich Oberland.
