Description
Black cumin has a long and significant history in the Orient. Originally from Egypt, it is now also cultivated in large parts of Western Asia and Southern Europe. Among many varieties of black cumin, only Nigella sativa has dietary significance. The seeds are matte black and contain valuable ingredients. Black cumin oil and seeds can be used in daily meals for many dishes and beverages. The seeds from the Sekem project in Egypt are carefully cold-pressed in small quantities at our manufacturing facility in the Zurich Oberland.
