MyProtein Micellar casein

Micellar casein is a high-quality, long-term utilisable protein obtained from milk. In contrast to acid casein or caseinates, micellar casein retains its nutritional quality and function thanks to ultrafiltration at low temperatures. Micellar casein is absorbed slowly in the stomach. In this way, the muscles are continuously supplied with amino acids over a longer period of time. This makes micellar casein an ideal protein supplement for between meals or before a good night's sleep. During sleep, no nutrients are normally supplied to the body as no food is consumed. However, because micellar casein provides a constant supply of protein, the body can prevent muscle tissue from being broken down overnight. Micellar casein has a first-class amino acid profile and a particularly high proportion of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs). It also contains very little fat and provides high-quality calcium. Recommended intake: Pour 200 - 300 ml of water or milk into our shaker (the less liquid, the thicker the shake). Then add one and a half large MP measuring spoons (30 g) and enjoy. For optimum results, consume just before going to bed. However, the product can also be taken 2 to 3 times a day between meals or as required. Measuring spoon not included.
