Preparation: Mix the flour mixture and the yeast, then add lukewarm milk and soft butter cubes to a bowl and knead into a soft dough. Let the dough rest for 3-4 minutes and then knead again. Shape the dough into a large braid or two or three small braids, depending on your preference. Cover the braid and let it rise in a warm place for 2 hours. After rising, brush the braid twice with egg and bake it in the middle of a preheated oven at 180°C (fan) or 200°C (top and bottom heat). Bake according to the size of the braids: three small braids for about 25 minutes, two small braids for about 30 minutes, and one large braid for about 35 minutes. Allow it to cool on a wire rack.
