Its scientific name means "little dragon." This plant belongs to the daisy family (like wormwood) and can reach a height between 30 cm and 1.50 m. Opinions are divided about its origin: some believe tarragon comes from Southern Europe, while others suggest it is more likely to have originated in Siberia. In any case, today, tarragon is cultivated in very good quality in France. It is part of the Fines Herbes family.
