Due to its appearance, which resembles half parsley and half fennel, coriander is also known as Arabic parsley. Its seeds have a delicious flavor reminiscent of sage and orange. It spread throughout Europe thanks to the Romans. Later, it became one of the first spices exported to North America. Today, it can be found all over South America, South Asia, North Africa, and Europe.
