Maurten Hydrogel Drink Mix 160

Maurten Drink Mix 160 is a beverage based on hydrogel technology. Mixing it with water creates a sports drink with a high concentration of maltodextrin and fructose. Once the pH-sensitive drink comes into contact with stomach acid, it transforms into a hydrogel. This hydrogel allows for smooth and rapid transport of the mixture to the intestines, where water, salt, and carbohydrates are quickly absorbed. One pack of Drink Mix 160, mixed with 500 ml of water, contains 40 g of carbohydrates.

Usage: Mix the contents of one sachet with 500 ml of water and shake the bottle until the powder is completely dissolved. For the correct formation of the hydrogel, the mixing ratio must be strictly adhered to. Additionally, the calcium content of the water should be less than 40 mg/l. Higher calcium concentrations can impair the dissolution of the product. The Drink Mix can be consumed before, during, and/or after exercise.
