The pesto is made from hand-harvested fresh basil leaves from LaSelva fields. The aromatic basil plants thrive particularly well in the hot climate of Maremma, close to the sea. Usage: Verde Pesto - Basil pesto not only tastes great on pasta but also on toasted bread, in vegetable soups and risottos, as a dip for raw vegetables, potatoes, and in salad dressings.
