This painting, designed and painted by the artist Delphine Cossais from Nantes, delicately sublimates this new packaging for the 2020 vintage sardines. Vintage sardines, fished at the peak of the season off the coast of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, reflect a craftsmanship of excellence that has been maintained since 1887. These sardines, with an exceptional fat content (over 12%), are true vintages that can be stored for up to 10 years, with the requirement that they be turned every six months. A decade in which they can be tenderized and packaged is an essential ritual to appreciate all the qualities of these precious sardines.
