Sardines a la Luzienne by La Belle Iloise a tasty recipe where the sardine meets the flavours of Bayonne ham. The whole thing is underlined with piment d'Espelette to emphasise the Basque character. This recipe is a treat for the palate. If you like a mild touch of spiciness and you like the spicy Bayonne ham, this conserve from La Belle Iloise is a must. Without a doubt one of my favourite preserves! I have many of them :-) but this one is one of my favourites.
