KoRo Pumpkin seeds without shell

Styrian pumpkin seeds owe their name to a mutation of the oil pumpkin, which was first found in Styria, Austria. Specifically, the dark green seeds are the seeds of the oil pumpkin Cucurbita pepo, from which high-quality pumpkin seed oil is also produced. The pumpkin seeds are an ideal snack for in-between meals. Their dark green, slightly shimmering color and mild, nutty aroma make them unmistakable. They can be used in a variety of ways according to individual taste. Raw, roasted with a bit of oil as a salad topping, in pasta dishes, or as a crunchy ingredient in granola – these seeds have versatile applications. Pumpkin seeds can also be used instead of pine nuts in pesto.
