Herbaria Cubeb Pepper 35g in the mill comes from controlled organic cultivation on the Indonesian islands, where it is hand-picked by small farmer cooperatives and processed using traditional methods. The producer community, founded in 2011, consists of around 2000 organic-certified small farmers in Central Java. Together, they cultivate about 800 hectares. The farming in this mountainous region is done exclusively in mixed cultivation. Cubeb pepper has an intense flavor, is aromatic, slightly camphor-like, and pairs well with meat, fish, seafood, or even desserts. It is primarily used in Middle Eastern and Asian cuisine.
