Herbaria Oregano rubbed

Herbaria Oregano comes from controlled organic farming in Rhineland-Palatinate, from the Bioland farm of Alfred Hammann. The Hammann family's farm is located near the Loreley rock in the UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. The family business has been a Bioland member since 1986 and has been cultivating oregano for many years. The harvest takes place just before flowering, as the leaves have the best aroma at that time. They are then roughly chopped and immediately dried on the farm. After drying, the harvest is cut to the desired size, and the stems are blown away using a wind sifting process. In a further step, the fine components are sifted, ensuring that only the beautiful oregano leaves remain. Oregano is intensely aromatic, has a fine, slightly bitter taste, and is indispensable in Mediterranean cuisine. Pizza, pasta, and salads with feta, mozzarella, and tomatoes are perfectly enhanced with oregano.
