Do you need a sponge cake for your dessert, but it has to be quick? Then this sponge cake mix is just right for you. To make the sponge batter, you only need to add eggs and water and mix everything well. A sponge cake can be that quick and easy. The mix already has a wonderful vanilla flavor. If you like, you can add some lemon zest or other flavors to give your sponge batter a slightly different taste. Place a cake ring on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and pour the batter in. Bake the batter in the oven until it is golden brown. Be sure to let the finished sponge cool completely before cutting it. It's best to do this the next day. This way, you prevent the sponge from falling apart. With the different sponge layers and a filling of your choice, you can now start layering the cake. Finally, frost the finished cake with buttercream or ganache and decorate as desired.
