Unfortunately, there is always some waste produced during manufacturing. The reasons are varied, and we are constantly working to reduce this. Our drawers at home are filled with surplus products because we can't bring ourselves to simply throw them away. Therefore, we sell these cloths here at discounted prices. All beeswax cloths are 100% functional. They serve their purpose just as well as the other cloths but have cosmetic defects:

• Poorly cut edges (crooked, missing notches, etc.)
• Fabric flaws, e.g., small threads
• Discolorations that occurred during fabric printing
• Excessively strong wrinkles
• The patterns are a colorful mix

The Beeswax Cloth Explained

With the beeswax cloth, you can easily and sustainably keep vegetables, fruits, and bread fresh. But that's not all: the beeswax cloths are also perfect for covering an open bowl. The warmth of your hands is enough to mold the beeswax cloth to various shapes. The starter set consists of one small, one medium, and one large beeswax cloth, making it ideal for getting started.

Unlike plastic or aluminum foil, the beeswax cloth is reusable and thus a sustainable alternative. Our beeswax cloths are made from cotton, beeswax, natural resin, and coconut oil. Beeswax is antibacterial and naturally helps keep food fresh.

Cleaning: Wipe the beeswax cloth with cold water after use and let it air dry. Mild dish soap can also be used. It's ready for the next use. Important: Do not wash with hot water! Not suitable for meat.
