Instructions for use
Durgol swiss steamer is not suitable for commercial kitchen appliances. Please follow the instructions for use provided with your steamer as your primary guide for the descaling and rinsing process. Appliances WITH a descaling programme - Add one portion of Durgol Swiss Steamer to the water tank (dosage as specified by the appliance manufacturer). - If necessary, dilute with tap water – to the quantity specified in the appliance’s instruction manual. Start the descaling programme. - For appliances without a fixed water connection, the descaling solution is pumped back into the water tank once the programme has finished. This should not be reused. - After descaling, rinse the tank with tap water. Then rinse the appliance with tap water in accordance with the descaling programme. Appliances without a descaling programme - Pour durgol swiss steamer into the water tank at the base of the appliance, ensuring it covers the bottom thoroughly. Use a sponge to spread the liquid over the limescale deposits around the water tank. Always use durgol swiss steamer cold, without activating a programme (e.g. for cleaning). - Leave to work. - Remove the liquid with a sponge. - Rinse thoroughly with tap water and wipe dry Important notes - CAUTION: Before descaling, ensure that the cooking chamber has cooled down completely. The descaling solution must never be allowed to evaporate. - Avoid contact with acid-sensitive materials, as these may be damaged. - Wipe up any splashes of the descaling solution with a damp cloth.
