Preparation: This package contains: 470 g of baking mix for the dough. Additionally, you will need: a springform pan (Ø 26 cm), e.g., Dr. Oetker baking paper. Just add: 200 g of soft butter, 4 eggs (size M).
1. Prepare and make the dough: Line the springform pan with baking paper. Preheat the oven. Top/bottom heat: about 200 °C, convection: about 180 °C. Place the baking mix for the dough in a mixing bowl, add the soft butter and eggs. Mix everything with a mixer (whisk attachments) briefly on the lowest speed, then on the highest speed for 2 minutes until a smooth dough forms. Pour the dough into the springform pan and smooth the top.
2. Bake: Place the pan on the rack in the oven. Position: bottom, baking time: about 23-28 minutes. Towards the end of the baking time, check for doneness. For this, poke a sharp knife into the center of the cake. The cake is done when no dough sticks to the knife. Note: An extended baking time of just 1 minute can affect the moistness of the cake. For more moisture, remove the cake from the oven after the first successful doneness check. Immediately after baking, loosen the edge of the cake using a table knife. Allow the cake to cool in the pan on a wire rack. The cake will settle while cooling.
3. Unmold: Turn the cake out onto a kitchen board or flat plate lined with baking paper and peel off the baked-on paper. Place a cake plate on top of the cake and flip it back over. Tip: Dust the cake with powdered sugar before serving.
