The preparation of the marble cake mix from Dr. Oetker is so simple and quick that you have even more time to indulge and enjoy. Tip: You can also bake delicious marble muffins with the marble cake mix! Prepare them like a cake, baking time 25-30 minutes. Yields 12 muffins.

Ingredients and instructions for use

Ingredients
Baking mix (WHEAT flour, sugar, WHEAT STARCH, raising agents (E 450, E 500), rice starch, emulsifiers (E 475, E 471, E 433), salt, flavouring), low-fat cocoa mix (low-fat cocoa powder, sugar, raising agents (E 450, E 500)). May contain: (MILK, EGG, NUTS).
Instructions for use
You also add: 1 dl milk, 1 tbsp milk, 150g butter (margarine) soft, 3 eggs. For a 25cm cake tin. 1. prepare and make the batter: Grease and flour the cake tin. Preheat oven to 180 °C (hot air 160 °C). Pour the cake mix into a mixing bowl, add the softened butter (margarine), eggs and 1 dl milk. Mix with a mixer on the highest setting for about 3 minutes until smooth. 2. fill the baking tin: pour ? of the batter into the tin. Stir the cocoa mixture and 1 tbsp of milk into the remaining batter. Now pour the dark batter evenly into the baking tin. To create a marble pattern, run a fork through both layers of batter in a spiral. 3. bake: Bake in the lower third of the oven for 50-60 mins. After about 15 minutes of baking, make a 1 cm deep cut lengthways down the centre with a sharp knife. Finish baking. Leave the baked cake in the tin for about 10 minutes, remove from the tin and place on a cake rack. Store in a cool, dry place.
