Product details
Tortiglioni are one of the many varieties of maccheroni, one of the oldest types of pasta, and originated in Naples. Its name, of course, refers to its format and comes from the vulgar Latin word tortillare, which literally means "to wind into a spiral with a pattern typical of the lathe". This type of pasta is particularly versatile and at the same time original. For this reason, it goes perfectly with strong sauces. The tortiglioni taste excellent with tasty meat sauces. They also taste great with a tomato or vegetable sauce. This type of pasta is particularly suitable for oven dishes.
