Already centuries ago, Hildegard of Bingen knew that spelt is valuable for nutrition.

Spelt is the original form of today's wheat and is appreciated for its excellent baking properties. In baking recipes, wheat flour can be replaced 1:1 with spelt flour. With its robust, nutty flavor, the whole or crushed grain, when cooked, is also very popular as a side dish as well as in salads, casseroles, and patties.

Our whole grain spelt comes from organic farms in Germany.
