Himalayan Basmati rice is a genuine Basmati rice from the foothills of the Himalayas. It cooks up loose and grainy. As a fragrant rice, it is ideal as a side dish for Asian or oriental dishes.

Our rice is grown in our Indian Fairtrade and Demeter cultivation project at the foot of the Himalayas. The local rice farmers and their families benefit from numerous improvements in the areas of hygiene, education and infrastructure as part of our joint collaboration.
