Achieve flawless, vibrant, and beautifully bold color finishes on your cake creations by using the Colour Mill Oil Blend range of oil-based food colors. Colour Mill oil-based food colors allow the color to disperse throughout any fat-rich medium, including sugar, eggs, and butter. This is because all water-based materials have been removed and replaced with baking-friendly oils; these oils blend much better than water-based gels, which are known to repel oils from your baked goods.

Unlike traditional gel colors, Colour Mill colors love the fats and oils in your baked goods and utilize them to distribute the specially formulated color. The result is surprisingly vibrant, rich, and consistent shades that do not fade. It works particularly well in buttercream, Swiss meringue, chocolate, cake batter, ganache, and fondant. It also works in flower paste, gum paste, modeling paste, marzipan, cake mixes, pastries, glazes, isomalt, piping gel, lace mixes, and much more.

Your cakes will not only look incredible, but you will also use much less dye, as it has a high concentration. You only need a tiny drop to achieve the desired shade - we recommend using the tip of a cocktail stick.

The bottle comes with a squeeze-top dispenser cap for increased accuracy. Shake well before use. Take your time; the colors will develop over time. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Maximum dosage: 4.16 g/kg.
