These Fairtrade capers are traditionally first pickled in sea salt and then rinsed with wine vinegar made from Zibibbo grapes. Claro Fair Trade has been actively shaping fair trade since 1977. Food, textiles, and handicrafts are sourced from long-term claro partners in the Global South. The trading partners are small producers from marginalized areas who produce high-quality products in a socially and ecologically sustainable manner. Claro promotes biodiversity in small-scale agriculture and supports social projects. For the products of their partners in the South, claro fair trade opens up sales channels in Northern countries.
