Guar gum is a vegetable thickener obtained from small seeds of the guar plant, about 5 mm in size. Ark Organic Guar Gum is vegan, gluten-free and binds both during cooking and without. This gluten-free thickener is ideal for desserts, cold dishes, dips, sauces, soups and gratins.

Preparation: Use 1/2 level teaspoon (approx. 1.5 g) of organic guar gum for 150 ml of sauce, gratin liquid or cold dips and for 200 ml of soup or cold dish. Sieve the guar gum through a fine sieve and bring to the boil briefly or leave to swell without boiling.
