Instructions for use | NOTE: - A higher addition of Unigel is required for low gelling fruit (see table on the side of the bag). - The more sugar, the less Unigel. Only add the sugar slowly at the end of the cooking process. - For jellies, stir the Unigel into approx. 0.5 litres of water. RECIPE FOR JAMS AND JELLIES: - Boil 1kg of fruit (+ 40ml water or fruit juice if necessary) until cooked. - Add 20-50g Unigel, stir in well and cook for one minute. - Slowly trickle in 0-900g sugar in small portions. - Bring to the boil and simmer for at least one minute. Pour into pre-warmed glasses up to the rim, close the glass and turn upside down for a minute. |
