Black cumin has been used as a spice in the Orient for over 2,000 years. It is also known as the "gold of the pharaohs". It is not related to caraway or cumin. Bio Planète black cumin oil is gently pressed from high-quality Egyptian seeds and filtered only once. It has a high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids. Replacing saturated fatty acids with polyunsaturated fatty acids in the diet helps to maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. We recommend 1 teaspoon (3.5 ml) of black cumin oil daily. The hot and spicy black cumin oil harmonises very well with oriental dishes, flatbread, chickpeas, cheese and beans. The oil is pressed when the seeds are fully ripe.
