For our fruity organic Planète olive oil, we always select the batch from a pool of farmers that best meets our strict quality and taste requirements. From December to March, the sun-ripened olives are harvested and processed using cold extraction. These olives come from Spain, Portugal, or Tunisia. Sometimes we also carefully blend individual batches to create a so-called "cuvée" for an even better and more balanced flavor result.

We recommend the fruity organic Planète olive oil to consumers who appreciate robust, intense, and spicy oils, and for whom a certain bitterness is a hallmark of good olive oil. This characterful oil is particularly well-suited for hearty dishes and pairs excellently with bell peppers, garlic, or red meat.

Olive oil is considered an important component of the so-called Mediterranean or Cretan diet, where it replaces butter, among other things. As part of a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle, using monounsaturated and/or polyunsaturated fatty acids instead of saturated fatty acids helps maintain normal cholesterol levels in the blood.
