Tapioca starch

Arche Organic Tapioca is a fine, flavourless starch made from the starchy root tubers of the cassava plant. The organic starch is a gluten-free and ideal binding agent for soups and sauces. It gives them the perfect consistency and light lustre that you would expect from good Asian restaurants. Gluten-free biscuits, pastries and desserts can also be made in no time at all with this uncomplicated starch. Particularly practical in the resealable tin.

Preparation: For 500 ml of liquid such as soups and sauces, mix 2-3 teaspoons (approx. 10 g) of the organic starch with a little cold liquid and stir into the rest of the boiling mixture. Bring to the boil briefly while stirring.
