The "Pit Powder" BBQ rub was created in collaboration with grill master Thorsten Brandenburg, operator of the eponymous grill blog "BBQPit.de." Thorsten, along with his teammates, the "BBQ Wieseln," became the German amateur grill champion in 2014 (Schweinfurt, GBA). This rub is suitable for all types of meat: pork, poultry, or even ground beef. It is particularly well-suited for "low & slow" BBQ, meaning slow cooking in a smoker. The addition of smoked paprika, ginger, and chipotle jalapeños gives this rub an exotic smoky flavor.
