This cherry-chipotle BBQ rub was developed by the Sauerländer BBCrew. Tim and Sebastian wanted a fruity rub that brings a bit of heat and pairs well with various types of meat. It tastes fantastic on ribs, whether beef or pork, but also works wonderfully on chicken wings or pulled pork with this exceptional blend. In addition to dried cherries, the gentle heat of chili ancho and the smoky fire of chipotle jalapeño are used. Flavorful overtones are provided by thyme, ginger, and nutmeg. A big thank you to the two super guys from the Sauerländer BBCrew for this great recipe.
