Product details

The golden oil of the pharaohs. Black cumin, lat. nigella sativa, is a spice plant from the buttercup family that is not related to caraway or cumin. After flowering, this cultivated plant forms poppy-like capsules in which the seeds, known as black cumin, are located. Black cumin is mainly cultivated in Asia and the Middle East, where it finds enough sun to thrive. In many places, black cumin is regarded as the most successful natural remedy of the past ten years. In the Orient, the oil has been highly valued as a spice and remedy for more than 3000 years. Even the Islamic prophet Mohammed wrote the symbolic sentence in his book "Hadith": "Black cumin cures every disease except death". Laboratory tests have revealed that the unsaturated fatty acids in the poppy-like black cumin seeds serve as a precursor for the synthesis of our bodily substances prostaglandin El and E2 and therefore have a direct influence on our immune system. Black cumin seed oil contains a high proportion of biologically active, polyunsaturated fatty acids. Recommended dosage: Mix 6 ml of oil (approx. 2 teaspoons) daily into a drink, salad dressing or tomato sauce. Nutritional values: The natural oil from the first pressing has a high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids.
