Product details
Sugar-free with whey protein isolate, casein, and soy isolate for fast muscle building. Contains about 35% less carbohydrates than other weight gainers.
You work hard in the gym several times a week, lifting weights in hopes of increasing muscle growth and strength. Therefore, you should not compromise when choosing your supplements. It is well known that there are significant differences in the quality of supplements. The build-up of muscle mass and strength can only be supported by high-quality nutrients, a criterion that also applies to weight gainers. Weight gainers are considered 'classics' among supplements. Developed nearly 20 years ago, the formulas of most regular weight gainers have remained unchanged until today. A glance at the list of ingredients reveals whether a product is composed of high-quality raw materials suitable for muscle and strength building or if it simply contains cheap ingredients that promote body fat accumulation.
The main ingredient of most regular weight gainers is carbohydrates with a high glycemic index (HGI) such as maltodextrin and dextrose. These carbohydrates ensure a rapid and significant increase in blood sugar levels, leading to a strong release of insulin. In the post-workout phase—directly after training—this is desirable to quickly replenish exhausted glycogen stores and support muscle building by supplying protein and energy after the training stimulus. However, carbohydrates with a high glycemic index are not suitable for an effective weight gainer consumed as a meal or snack to increase daily calorie intake, as a constantly high insulin level promotes body fat accumulation. Gain Tech contains a new, unique combination of two high-quality carbohydrate sources: barley and oats. Both types of carbohydrates have a low glycemic index (NGI).
