Vanilla grows as a vine that climbs up an existing tree or pole. The distinctive aromatic compounds are found in the fruit, which is formed through the pollination of a flower. Each flower is individually hand-pollinated. Inside the pods, there is an oily liquid filled with tiny seeds. During the drying process, the pods are dried and massaged to perfect the shape and texture of the bean. This process requires a lot of time and experience to achieve an optimal result with the highest vanillin content.
