Does the DiamondClean 9000 have a visual warning when pressed too hard? If not, which models have this function? Somehow the features of the Philips toothbrushes are very unclearly declared.
Mine did not have the function of indicating when to press firmly.
The toothbrush is now already defective "vibrations were passed on to the housing instead of the brush", of course, always shortly after the warranty.
Purchased a successor and after 1.5 years the same thing happened.
It was replaced under warranty, but it will be my last Philips toothbrush and I will go back to OralB as soon as the current one is defective again.
Philips sonic toothbrushes vibrate gently when the pressure is too high. However, it is important to note that sonic toothbrushes do not require any pressure at all. It is much more important that a sonic toothbrush has very fine bristles. Many brush heads are actually already too hard, but fortunately brush heads can be exchanged. A highly recommendable alternative with very soft brush heads is available, for example, from the Swiss company Curaden, which produces very tooth- and gum-friendly sonic toothbrushes with very fine brush heads that are also available at Digitec. The models are called Curaprox, of which there are three.
