Do you really have to click through all the programmes to switch off the brush?

Of course not. If you switch it on and want to switch it off again, then yes - that's how you select the programme at the beginning, with a button. But if the brush runs for a few seconds, it switches off normally by pressing the button again.
Quite intuitive, actually.
