Zoll AED defibrillator

The semi-automatic Zoll AED Plus is a defibrillator with cardiac massage support. It is the only Automated External Defibrillator (AED) that allows real-time evaluation of chest compressions. The defibrillator combines written and voice messages to guide the rescuer through the action that may lead to defibrillation and/or cardiopulmonary resuscitation. After the electrodes have been applied to the patient, the defibrillator monitors the electrocardiographic (ECG) rhythm of the victim's heart, analyses this rhythm and decides whether or not a shock is required. If a shock is required, the defibrillation energy is also delivered via these electrodes.
